Otterbrook is a one-person studio designing premium Notion templates and Figma kits for indie hackers, solo founders, and creator-economy operators. Every product designed in-house, sold direct, with lifetime free updates.
The story
From 2023 to here.
Otterbrook started in 2023 with one Notion template — a personal OKR system the founder had been refining for two years before posting it for $19.
It sold thirty copies the first week. The next month she shipped a second template. By the end of year one there were eleven products live; by year three, 47. Today, 4,200 buyers across 3 product categories.
What she didn't change between year one and year three: every product is still designed by one person, ships with lifetime free updates, and gets sold direct with no marketplace platform between maker and buyer.
What she did change: the platform underneath. Year one was Gumroad. Year three is the storefront you're on now — built so the system underneath the catalog scales without adding people.

What we believe
Three commitments.
01. Lifetime free updates.
Buy v1. Get v2. Get v3. The license you buy is the license you keep — for as long as the product exists. No upgrade fees, no migration tax, no exclusion clauses for "major version changes." Every product, every customer, forever.
02. Direct, not marketplace.
We left Gumroad in 2026 because the platform's brand was on every checkout while ours was a logo at the top. Now the only brand at checkout is Otterbrook, and the only fee is the Stripe processing fee. The savings go into faster product updates.
03. Designed by one person.
Every product is drawn, built, tested, and shipped by the founder. No outsourcing. No template-mill expansion. The catalog grows when she has something worth shipping; not when a roadmap says it should.
